ACCESS Community Action Agency to Launch "2007 Annual Appeal"
WILLIMANTIC (April, 2007) - Did you know approximately 15,000 people in Windham and Tolland Counties are living in poverty? Where can individuals and families turn for help? For over 40 years, The ACCESS Community Action Agency located in Willimantic and Danielson has been on the front lines of the "War on Poverty" helping people and changing lives. The ACCESS Community Action Agency is a non-profit organization that offers a wide variety of services, from basic emergency needs like food and shelter, to innovative programs like financial literacy and homeownership initiatives. The ACCESS Agency helps individuals and families achieve self-sufficiency and economic independence.
